Turning back the clocks

Have the clocks “fallen” back yet? Russia, like many European countries, engages in daylights savings time. Here our clocks will turn back at the end of the month—I think. Right now, however, I wish that they were already turned back. Every morning when I am walking to class at 8:15, it is getting darker and darker. A few mornings ago, my teacher and I were commenting on the colorful sunrise we both saw on our way to our language lesson. I tell you, I sure don’t like waking up at a reasonable hour while it is dark outside—I imagine that it is going to only worse as the winter nights become even longer. Hurrah! (can you hear the sarcasm in that cheer?)
